Hopefully this will help someone out there. Don't blame me if this bricks your Nook Color but I've got two that are working fine after doing this. I express zero warranty to the accuracy of this information. By following any of these instructions you assume all responsibility for any problems that arise whatsoever with your equipment. But the good news is, it's all reversible with a hard reboot! So 'they' say at least!
